Wild As The Wind Recommended Resources

GreenMedInfo LogoI’ve compiled a list of some of the people and websites I lean on most heavily when researching the articles I write. This is not to say that every resource is listed here, just the resources I visit more frequently than others. Other resources, if not listed here, will be cited at the end of individual Wild As The Wind articles, which have been informed by the insights provided by these sources.

I offer my profound thanks to all of the resources that I use… without their free online information I would find it a lot more difficult to do what I do. I am profoundly grateful.

This is not to say that I don’t buy a fair amount of books also. At present I’m plodding way through a deeply intersting tome written by Dr, Steven Gundry

This list of recommended resources is designed to:

  • Help you discover new sources of online health, skincare, and essential oil information
  • Let you know which resources I turn to when researching the material for this website
  • Provide citation for search engines, like Google

The list is comprised of the people and organisations I consider to provide some of the best online information about health, essential oils and cosmetic / skincare products. It is by no means an exhaustive list… I certainly refer to many other resources when researching an article…

All health and beauty bloggers, like myself, have a vast number of online resources that we consult when researching a topic for publication. It’s only fair that we give due credit to these sources.

Primary Recommended Resources

Primary recommended resources are websites that provide encyclopedic information about health and skincare from an array of different sources:

GreeMedInfo is possibly the ultimate online health resource. It boasts over 10,000 health topics covered. It really is the ultimate Wikipedia of all things health related.

All the information provided is substantiated by the latest peer reviewed research.

I personally subscribe to this website.

Mercola.com, the website of the highly respected Dr. Mercola, which is a very close companion to GreenMedInfo in that it’s been pumping out a really diverse array of health information, is a particularly important online resource as Dr. Mercola is very able to keep the big picture in his frame of vision. This allows him to appreciate that it’s not just food that determines health, but also our environment, our relationships and the the various toxic inputs that we are being exposed to on a daily basis. This includes, the toxicity of our daily news, environmental factors such as EMF, cleaning products, chem-trails and pesticides like organo-phosphates and glyphosate etc.

What is also particularly impressive about this website is that it has been doing it for over 20 years! This, of course, means that Dr. Mercola is immensely well connected within the alt-health news arena, and so his website is a great place to start your alt-health education. Not only that, but he also interviews a lot of preeminent specialist on video and podcasts etc…

Global Healing Centre created by the highly trained vegan physician Dr. Edward Group. I very much like this website, and I very much like the look of the supplements produced by Dr. Edward Group.

Dr. Axe Health & Fitness News provides comprehensive articles on many health topics that are very well formatted and easy to read. The Dr. Axe website also provides great information about how to use essential oils safely and effectively.
