Why Use Essential Oils?

Essential OilsThe short answer :: Because they work!

So really, the question shouldn’t be ‘Why Use Essential Oils?’, but ‘Why Aren’t We All Using Essential Oils?’.

Almost all conventional, or modern medicine is derived from plant or natural sources. The only problem with this is that Big Pharma, (the pharmaceutical industry), can’t commercialise plants, because it can’t patent or copyright them unless the plant is modified in some way.

This is written in law to protect inventors who spend a lot of time and money on research and development before releasing a brand new product onto the market. If the law were lax on the issue of copying this would mean that people could simply reverse-engineer products and figure out how to build an identical product for peanuts, thus permitting them to start making a profit from them almost immediately…

Essential Oils Are Natural… So What About Drugs?

When the patent laws and copyright laws were conceived, and incorporated into law, it’s unlikely that anyone thought that corporations would come along and try and patent life… but that’s precisely what Monsanto and Syngenta and all the other GMO corporations have effectively done…

And, Big Pharma are doing something very similar. Instead of relying on the organic plant materials in the form of herbs and essential oils, Big Pharma develop synthetic isolates from the plants that are perceived to be the potent healing elements within the plants, and then they produce pills using the synthetic isolates, and sell them to medical systems like the NHS and Medicare, as well as pharmacies, for lovely big profits.

Essential Oils Versus Pharmaceuticals

Essential oils are the concentrated extracts of the entire plant they are derived from as opposed to the synthetic isolates, so it has all of the components needed to be absorbed. Once we learn how to test medicines more accurately we will be able to show more conclusively that synthetic isolates are not readily absorbed by the human body. The body simply doesn’t recognise these modern medicines and so they are either rejected, or there are insufficient components provided with these isolated ingredients for us to ingest these foreign invaders.

However, essential oils can be harmful too. It is important to remember it is estimated that approximately 75% of all essential oils being sold around the world are, in fact, adulterated. But, the majority of vendors are not doing so consciously. They are buying essential oils in good faith, but unfortunately, somewhere along the line, the oils are getting adulterated so that someone can make a bigger profit.

More so than ever, it is imperative to only buy oils from reputable essential oil companies. The best way to do this is to search for ‘reputable essential oil companies uk‘ in Google, and be thorough in your research about who you choose to buy from.

Why Use Essential Oils Now?

The answer to this question is essentially answered in the introduction. We don’t ingest modern medicines like we can absorb the healing benefits of essential oils.

Because the body doesn’t readily recognise these modern medicines, which are often isolates of the perceived healing properties within plants, these unnatural substances regularly promote a slew of negative reactions within the body. We commonly call these the ‘side-effects’.

Quite often the medicines we are prescribed by our doctors, or we buy over the counter from the pharmacy, come with a list of side-effects that they cover several pages.

It is now recognised that pharmaceuticals are killing hundreds of thousands of people every year. And that’s if the drugs are being taken as prescribed!

Essential Oil Efficacy

Our nose and olfactory system, (read: our ability to smell), are directly connected to our brains.

There are very few signals that travel to our brain as quickly as those that stimulate the olfactory senses.

This is why essential oil burning and diffusing have such an immediate affect on mood etc.

Essential Oil Toxicity

Essential Oils can be toxic, just like some pharmaceuticals, if they are not diluted. So, it’s important to learn how to prepare essential oils for application.

However, there are no stats relating to how many people die each year from using essential oils as prescribed by the essential oil professionals. The reason for this is there aren’t any!

But, that doesn’t mean that essential oils are ineffectual in treating health conditions. Essential oils are incredibly effective at treating a wide variety of health conditions… in fact, essential oils are able to treat almost all non-trauma conditions.

Yes, essential oils are that effective!

Essential Oil Adulteration

Essential oils are routinely adulterated for profit. This tremendously sad and egregious practice transforms beautiful, profoundly healing substances into toxic poisons. It makes me deeply sad.

More People Are Turning To Essential Oils

On a more positive note…

Now that modern medicine is being shown to fail in increasing numbers of cases, and because it is common knowledge that over-use of antibiotics has led to the creation of super bugs, more and more people are turning to more natural ways of healing their illnesses.

Essential oils like Oregano and Tea Tree are incredibly antiseptic and anti-bacterial.

Myrrh and Oregano Essential Oils are brilliant anti-fungals.

Lavender Essential Oil is the best soporific to use when insomnia strikes.

And so on and so forth…

(We advocate keeping most of the essential oils mentioned above on hand in your essential oil first aid kit.)

There’s an essential oil pretty much for all non-trauma conditions. But, there’s not a single essential oil that will re-set a broken bone! So, modern medicine still very much has a considerably place in our lives!

Why Use Essential Oils?

We are in an absolute health crisis. There’s no other way of saying it. The volume of toxins we ingest—through prescription drugs, cleaning products, polluted air, our food supply… are killing us!

In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tell us that 1 in 2 people currently have a chronic disease such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and arthritis. These conditions are completely preventable and top the charts as the most common cause of death world wide.

Using essential oils is one of the most popular health trends today, because the current medical model has failed millions of people who are “going back to nature.”

Why? Because they work!

Essential Oils For EMF

The above quote doesn’t make reference to the devastating effects of EMF on our health.

But essential oils can help support us and cure us of the toxic influences of these deathly rays.

All 100% pure essential oils possess antioxidant properties, in addition to many other health supporting properties such as anti-inflammatory, antiviral, immune boosting, nervine, etc. They each have varying Hertz frequencies, which generate energetic protection by increasing the body’s Hz to combat the incoming stimuli. When you look at the effects that EMF’s have on immune system suppression, blood cell functions and health and cellular communication, you can see that essential oils can help nourish and support the body and mind during these times of environmental stress.
